The Board is the main executive body of the organisation. It:

1. executes the decisions of the Committee
2. presents the annual Board's report to the Committee
3. presents a budget proposal and financial results to the Committee
4. makes decisions concerning agreements with other organisations or persons
5. nominates appointees
6. nominates the editors of Kontakto, TEJO Tutmonde and other publications
7. makes decisions concerning the International Youth Congress
8. makes decisions concerning Patrons, other than their removal
9. secures the internal functioning of the board
10. takes care of the smooth running of the organisation in general
