1. EM-letter to all ELNA and KEA (ESK) members.

 * Get previous letter
 * Contact Rachael and Michael via email and establish contact
 * Discuss content of letter with Rachael, possibility of tri-fold brochure or other such insert.
 * acquire updated membership list from ELNA
 * investigate funding of postage
 * Review previous info regarding contacts in Canada and try to get list of KEA or ESK members
 * Update database with merge from ELNA, and merge or hand-entry from KEA/ESK
 * Remove (via flag) members who have passed away
 * Create, proof, re-edit, and print mailing labels
 * send mailing labels to Rachael
 * follow up with Rachael

2. Contacting Volkswagen for sponsorship by providing a VW van.

 * Locate marketing dept of VW America
 * Find out if anybody knows anybody at VW
 * Create outline for pitch by phone
 * Make pitch

 * Find out of anybody knows anybody in mgt at hotel chain or oil company
 * Make list of possible sponsors
 * Create outline for phone pitch

  • Telefone call with Chuck regarding tasks and plans, getting up to date.
  • Edited (this) EM-wiki page with tentative list of tasks
  • Emailed Rachael, with cc to Chuck and Michael to establish / confirm contact
  • Rachael wants to help out in any way possible, and we are on the same page
  • Emailed ELNA board, Texas Esperantists, and AktivaUsono groups asking if they knew anybody at VW
  • Found old (outdated) email letter planned for mass emailing. Forwarded it to Rachael and esperantomobilo@tejo

  • Surfed for VW headquarters and marketing dept and didn't find it. - will try more.

  • Interview with Fort Worth Star-Telegram on artificial languages. I made plug for EM. Article due on or about Friday, 27 Feb 2004
