The point is that we'd initially have weekends for Esperanto beginners, but we'd also invite more experienced people to come hang out and if we could find a cheap place, we could charge a small amount and create a starting capital for USEJ's future projects.
Proposed schedule
- Friday evening - get to know each other
- Saturday morning - Esperanto courses in three levels
- Saturday afternoon - a fun "project"
- Saturday evening - visit the surrounding area
- Sunday morning - Esperanto courses
- Sunday afternoon - evaluation and departure
Three levels:
- beginners - those who've never seen Esperanto before
- intermediate - those who completed Ana Pana (at [lernu!]) or the 10 lesson correspondence course
- advanced - those who completed Gerda malaperis or equivalent
- (if necessary, we could also add a fourth level to study Esperanto culture/literature if we have that many participants)
